End of Summer Blues (Brothers)

Our Hidden Springs "End of Summer" concert was last night at the Village Green. Our cellophane wrapped sandwiches, made by Fred Meyer, were put to shame by our neighbors spreads of kabobs and homemade salads, but we enjoyed our bottle of wine and the music and the fact that the kids are mostly old enough to play alone while we relax and talk to friends. There was a bouncy house and a balloon animal guy to keep them entertained, as well as plenty of friends to toss the football around with. The music was good- Blues Brothers- and the kids all danced and played until after 9. It was kind of a "last hurrah" as my work gets crazy tomorrow and the kids start school this week.
